Sentani 25/4 (Jubi) – Three people suspected provocateurs of inciting the riot were successfully secured by Jayapura police after the implementation of the plenary meeting of the vote counting at the Jayapura regency level at Sentani Indah hotel on Thursday night (24/4).

“These three men are alleged to be provocateurs for the implementation of a plenary meeting on the vote counting,” Jayapura Police chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Sondra Siagian told tabloidjubi.com in Sentani on Friday.
He explained that they managed to secure three people, one of them was drunk, and a black avanza car with the number plate DS 1350 J.

“These three were ordered by an individual candidate who could not accept the result of votes. Currently  they are still under an intensive interrogation  “he explained.
He further said that this incident has nothing to do with the implementation of the vote counting at Jayapura regency level but actually at the district level.

“There are no casualties and damages. The condition is conducive and stable, “he said.
The General Election Commission (KPU) re-performed his duties, although the actors were throwing bottles and stones containing gasoline to members.
“The total of perpetrators are 5 people, 3 of them were detained, while two others escape,” he concluded.
