

Peoples who been arrrested for allegedly opposing Pancasila – Jubi
Jayapura, Jubi – Papua Police have named one of seven people arrested on suspicions of treason, as a suspect.
Police said the man identified as AE, who claimed to be the police chief of the Federal Republic of West Papua (NRFPB), could face 20 years in prison if found guilty.
“The suspect led to action seeking secession from the unity of the Republic of Indonesia,” Renwarin said this week.
For the six others were arrested along with AE are still under further investigation. The decision will be immediately determined whether they will be released or not.
“Depending on the case committed , we will decide what the next steps to be taken by investigators, “he said.
Previously, Papua Police arrested seven people suspected of ideology contrary to Pancasila and the Indonesian constitution. They were arrested at the airport Sentani, Jayapura regency, Papua, on Tuesday (04/14/2015) approximately at 06:55 CET.
Jayapura Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sondra Siagian confirmed the arrest of seven men in their jurisdiction. He said, now seventh been submitted to the Papua Police for further investigation.
The supsects are LM, OB, MS, MD, DF and TF are considered from the Independent Committee delegation of Papua (KIP), and AE is admitted as generals State Police Federal Republic of West Papua (NRFPB). (Arjuna Pademme/ Tina)
