

National Exams 2016 at a Vocational School in Jayapura – Jubi
Jayapura, Jubi – Students of SMA 4 Jayapura are on the list of 10 students who scored highest in the the National Exams 2016 for Papua Province.
“The individual highest score is achieved by students at SMA 4 and SMA 3. Meanwhile the first and fifth ranking are achieved by students of SMA 4,” the Head of Jayapura Municipal Education Office I Wayan Mudiayasa told Journalists in Jayapura on Monday (9/5/2016).
Wayan added two SMA 4 students, Rian Hasianur Silaen and Ni Wayan Mira Theresia Lamia, achieved the highest scores for math and physics.
“There is improvement for the average score of students because some could reach 95 for physics, 92 for mathematics. And it is from SMA 4,” he said.
SMA 4 Principal of Jayapura Municipality Laba Sembiring explained this achievement is the materialization of three years’ work, in particular since the opening of acceleration class.
“This is the result, that we succeed to obtain the top rank of 1 to 5 in Papua,” he said.
He also asserted to maintain their achievement for the future by providing a proportional learning for the students.
“We are confident that we could stand for this achievement in the future. It is hard, but as long as we have a solid team, teachers who could work together, therefore this achievement could be more improved and maintained as well,” he said. (*/rom)
