Papua Governor, Lukas Enembe – Jubi
Jayapura, Jubi – Papua Governor Lukas Enembe said that assets owned by PT Percetakan Rakyat Papua have been seized by state court of the Class IA Jayapura.
“These assets were purchased without a clear business plan. So I think it’s better to sell them since they have been confiscated by the court, ” Enembe said in Jayapura, Papua last week.
According to him, the company does not bring any benefits to the local government. These assets were purchased by the Regional Budget (APBD) Papua around 100 billion by former governor Barnabas Suebu.
Previously, the plaintiff’s attorney, Wahyu Wibowo said it had given enough time and opportunity to defendant to pay compensation to dozens of employees who got fired in 2013, but defendant ignored it. Thus, the plaintiff asked for a letter of execution seizure in order to pay money back based on agreement.
