Abepura, Jubi – Inpress Yoka School revealed that  learning activities has not run effectively because it does not have a definitive principal.

“The principal was not here since September 19. She chose to resign without clear reason,“ Titin M Ohee, one of the teachers told Jubi on Tuesday (28/10).

Regular meetings of teachers to discuss teaching and learning activities (KBM) have also been suspended.

In the event of urgent administrative matters, the teachers would contact their supervisor.

“We are ordinary teachers. If there are guests, we welcome them and answer their questions as far as we can,” said Sarci Mebri, a first grade teacher.

Furthermore, Titin Ohee stated that this school requires not only a principal but also the class teacher and subject teachers. “We need two classroom teachers and teachers of religion,” she said.

She hoped that the government through head of education department of Jayapura city to seriously pay attention and resolve the problems immediately. “This school needs a replacement principal or maybe an acting principle, “Ohee appealed. (Mawel Benny/Tina)
