Jayapura , 22/4 ( Jubi ) – The Provincial Government of Papua is ready to be audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) should it decides to do so, Regional Secretary of Papua Province, Hery Dosinaen said.

To prove that the government is ready, it has gathered all the heads of the Regional Working Units (SKPD), Dosinaen said.
“We’ve held a comprehensive meeting with all the heads of Regional Working Units ( SKPD) reagarding financial audit done by BPK in Papua. Obviously, we are ready for the examination of the BPK audit,” Dosinaen told reporters in Jayapura on Tuesday ( 22/4).

BPK conducted preliminary examinations on the financial statements of provincial officials some time ago. Then, in April and May 2014 will be examined. Therefore he urges all the head of SKPD to get ready for it.

The financial reports are relatively good and have been submitted to the BPK .
“We already submitted financial reports to the BPK. So,in the near future BPK will come to audit, ” he said .

Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe asked BPK to conduct an investigative audit of all finances of provincial officials. The request has been filed before he served as governor.
“Everything has been running, the Governor could not convict who is wrong and right. To be sure , I have sent a letter to the BPK to conduct an investigation mainly for infrastructure funding . These results will be seen and we wait , ” Lukas Enembe said. ( Jubi / Alex/ Tina )
