Biak, Jubi – The Coordinating Body for Private Colleges (Kopertis) of Papua and West Papua held a procurement training program for staffers of private universities from Monday (27/10) to Thursday (30/10) in Biak Numfor.
The Kopertis coordinator, Festus Simbiak, said the training was carried out for the purpose of spending on goods and services in accordance with the rules applicable and also to increase the insight
“At least they could supervise the procurement of goods and services in their respective institutions,” he added
” This training were facilitated and funded by the central government and local governments as well as from outside in the form of grants such as the procurement of equipment, and other physical procurement that reach billions of rupiah. Therefore, it is very important for them in order to use the money ,”Simbiak explained
Participants who passed the training will be awarded a certificate and license basis or authority of the Agency Procurement Training Center to oversee the procurement of goods and services in institutions and other institutions that have requested their services.
