Workshop on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum (Jubi)
Jayapura, Jubi – SMK N 2 (vocational school) Jayapura city invited as many as 135 vocational school teachers from 10 regencies in Papua province to attend a workshop on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum.
Principal of SMK 2, Elia Waromi, said she hoped that after the workshop, the participants would be able to share their knowledge to other fellow teachers in their respective areas.
“We hope that they will be able to be a good mentor and understand the contents of the 2013 curriculum,” she said on Thusrday afternoon ( 14/11).
The workshop speakers were from the center for Development and Empowerment of Teachers and Education Personnel (P4TK) Bandung.
The head of the Education Development Center of Education and Culture Department of the Province of Papua, Albert Herman Lantang, said he expected all participants in the training to assist the government in providing information about the 2013 curriculum to each regency.
“We hope that the 2013 Curriculum can be implemented not only in Jayapura but also in the 10 regencies in Papua,” he said.
The ten regencies that participated were from Keerom, Jayapura, Biak Numfor, Yapen, Mimika, Merauke, Digoel, Jayawijaya, and Jayapura city. (Sindung Sukoco/ Tina)
