Jayapura, 1/6 (Jubi) – PT. Pertamina will increase its fuel supply to Raja Ampat Regency due to increased demand ahead of the Sail Raja Ampat Event scheduled for June 21, a company official said.
The General Manager of PT. Pertamina Maluku – Papua Office, Muhammad Irfan, said demands is expected to increase 100% for gasoline and 30% for diesel fuel.
“PT. Pertamina is allocating supplies to the five local gas stations to accommodate the public needs as well as the supplies to the bunker for the boats participated in the event,” he said on Sunday (1/6).
He said as of June 1, the company has adjusted the supply in the regency and increased aviation fuel supplies by 20 – 30 % from the average average comsumption.
Earlier, the Garuda Indonesia Airlines also said it would increase flights serving Jayapura and Sorong. The General Manager of PT. Garuda Indonesia Jayapura Office, Wahyudi last week said the airlines would fly seven times a day to Sorong. (Jubi/Arjuna/rom)
