Jayapura, Jubi – Papua Governor Lukas Enembe urged the young generation to be able to master technology in order to support sustainable development in the region.
“We are in the third millennium which is an era where we have to be able to create employment opportunities through the industrial sector,” Enembe said on Monday (04/05/2015).
He said currently national industry development required qualified human resources.
“The policies that have been implemented are expected to respond to the challenges of globalization and be able to realize the vision and mission, awakening, independent and prosperous,” he said.
He said specifically for the education sector, either in the district or city or in the province, it continues to work together to address the challenges of globalization in a professional manner through the Special Autonomy.
“It must be admitted that it has not been able to produce qualified human resources maximally yet through affirmative policy is expected to improve human resources,” he said again.
He said that to achieve this goal is not only the responsibility of the Department of Education and Culture but also must be fully supported by the industry. (*)
