Jayapura, Jubi – The Papua police have dismissed three errant members in disciplinary hearings on Wednesday (03/04/2015).
Papua Police spokesman, commissioner Patrige Renwarin said the three were fired because of violating the code of professional conduct of the Police. They are Brigadier Iqbal Triwijaya, Brigadier Faisal Arif, and Brigadier Fendi.
“Brigadier Iqbal Tiwijaya consumes shabu – shabu (crystal methamphetamine). He was charged Article11 letter a, Article 14, paragraph 1, letter b, and National Police Chief Regulation (Perkap PP) No 1 of 2003 concerning dismissal members of the police and or article 7 paragraph 1 letter b of the Regulation No. 14 of 2011 on the Police professional code of ethics, ” Renwarin said.
While the other police officer, Fendi got fired because he had not carried out his duties since 2010. He was subjected to Article 7, paragraph (1) letter e, the Regulation No. 14 of 2011, concerning the Police and the code of professional conduct or Article 14 paragraph (1) letter a and National Police Chief Regulation (Perkap PP) No. 1 of 2003. Then, Faisal Arif fired as he was absent more than 30 days, from July 2014 until now. He was subjected to Article 14 paragraph (1) letter a and National Police Chief Regulation No. 1 of 2003, and article 7 paragraph 1 of the Regulation No. 14 of 2011.
“We do not where they are. Even, Papua Police have issued a wanted list (DPO) for three times , “he said.
