Berlin, 8/3 (Jubi) – Indonesia’s Ambassador to the Federal State of Germany, Fauzi Bowo said that Papua has tremendous natural potential to attract foreigners including the Germans.
“I was in Jayapura a few days ago and got so much information from the Germans who move in Papua and West Papua “Fauzi Bowo told tabloidjubi.com after gathering with Indonesian citizens who take part in ITB Berlin, in the office of the Embassy (Embassy) Indonesia, in Berlin on Friday (7/3).
Even in Lake Sentani, Jayapura regency, said Fauzi, he met some German tourists.

He further stated when traveling to Manokwari, West Papua, he was impressed when he learned that there is a school run by Christian Education Foundation, which incorporate German language in its curriculum.
“I do not believe, then I asked the teachers in German language. Surprisingly, they are able to respond and looks fluent. It’s one of the good assets to be maintained and enhanced to improve the quality of human resources and also to increase tourism promotion, ” Bowo said.
