Papua Government to Set 2016 Budget in October

Jayapura, Jubi – The Papua government will establish the 2016 Regional Budget (APBD) in October 2015, Provincial Secretary Hery Dosinaen said .

“Governor Lukas Enembe have stressed about the changes of the budget in May and the end of the budget discussion in 2015. We expect it will run well since the 2015 projects have passed Procurement Services Unit (ULP) and tenders are already done,” Dosinaen told reporters in Jayapura this week.

In response, he appealed to all working units (SKPD) to manage the activities accommodated within the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) respectively.
“For the success of the project program is the responsibility of each SKPD leaders,” he said.

“All implementation of development is expected to be through the auction process of Procurement Services Unit that has been established,”Dosinaen added.

Previously, director general of Regional Finance Ministry of the Interior, Reydonnyzar Moenek urged regencies/ cities in Papua to immediately establish Regional Budget Regulation before December 30, 2015. (Alexander Loen/ Tina)
