Merauke, Jubi (14/7) – The principal of elementary school SD. St. Tarsisius Biankuk, Marselmo Kowaup, said kids usually have no breakfast in the morning since the parents do not prepare and this condition is rampant.
“We cannot force the children to have breakfast since the kids’ families can not afford it,” he said.
This condition affects their learning ability.
“Yes, the conditions are like this, and I have reminded the teachers to understand it,” he said.
Merauke Regent, Drs. Romanus Mbaraka, MT directly responded positively and dropped a ton of mung beans and milk so kids can have breakfast.
