Merauke , 17/3 ( Jubi ) – There are no extra ballots for the Papua Legislative Council (DPRP), the House of Representatives House (DPR – RI), and the Regional Representative Council ( DPD ) .
The existing ballots are just for the Merauke Representatives Council ( DPRD), a member of Merauke Election Commision , Severinus Fenanlampir told tabloidjubi.com in his office on Monday (17/3).
“so now we are coordinating with Central Election Commision in Jakarta,” Fenanlampir said.
“If it is responded back, then within one or two days a head, one of our stuff will fly to Jakarta for reserve ballots,” he added.
He added those who are not included in the final voters list ( DPT ) could still come to the polling stations (TPS) by bringing their personal identification such as ID cards and others.
“Well, our fear is when there’s a huge turnout. If the ballots are run out and no extras, it will cause a protest, ” he said.
“There are five partners who won the tender for the election supplies distribution yet their work is still in control of the police and the staff of the commission, ” he said.
The chairman of the Merauke Election Commission, Anthonius Kaize said the delivery of election supplies will begin next week and remote districts such as Kimaam, Tabonji,Waan, Ilwayab, Tubang , Okaba will be prioritized. ( Jubi / Frans L / Tina )
