The families when complaint to Merauke House of Reprentative (Jubi)
Merauke, Jubi ( 17/1 ) – Following up a letter issued by the Head of Merauke Mopah Airport, J. Aritonang dated January 15, 2014 that asked nine families (KK ) who are inhabiting the housing around the airport must vacate immediately make the families protest.
As a form of denial action, they went to the office of Merauke Legislative Council ( DPRD Merauke)
to report this problem. Witnessed by tabloidjubi.com on Friday ( 17/1 ), these families were accepted by the chairman of Commission B of DPRD Merauke, Luke Patrauw. Th meeting took about one and half hours.
One of the housing occupant, Alfonsina Way, S. Sos , M.Si said , they are surprised by this letter issued by the Head of Mopah Airport. Even more, the letter was not delivered directly to the housing owners, but was given to other persons.
“We strongly refuse to get out from our houses. Because we have been living here for years .”she said.

She acknowledged that these housings belong to government. The reason to vacate is because the area will be used to build the housings for airport employees.
“There should not be one-sided like that. We will continue to protest” she said .
Alfonsina further said that in the year 2009 , there were only seven families asked to vacate the houses . While other nine families do not get any information to move out.

If there is a plan like this, the meeting should be conducted first. So, there would have no disappointment and dissatisfaction, she said.

The chairman of Commission B of DPRD Merauke, Luke Patrauw admitted that he had received the aspirations and complaints from them.
