Jayapura, 13/3 (Jubi) – Dr. Neles Kebadabi Tebay, new director of the Fajar Timur School of Philosophy and Theology pledged on Thursday to expand further develop the institution in line with Melanesian values.
“I will develop the STFT Campus into three inseparable parts – lecturers, students and the institution. STTF will become a big community in Papua,” he said after a handover ceremony of the position from Abdon Bisei .
He further said that STTF as part of the Papuan community must be strong and maintained by the entire members. Besides building the community, he also would build a relationship within STFT.
“A good relationship will have an impact on school growth and help the community to grow. Lack of good relationship between the lecturers and students will disturb the community. If it is happened, Melanesian people have their way to correct it, all components must be united,” said Neles Tebay.
Meanwhile, the former head of STTF, Abdon Bisei said that being a leader is a noble task.
“Congratulations to Pater Neles for his new assignment. Let us serve with a sincere heart,” he said. (Jubi/Aprila)
