Merauke , 3/4 ( Jubi ) – The Education and Teaching Department in Merauke regency will hire 105 teachers who graduated from Special Teacher’s Training College  (KPG) to fill the shortage of educators there.

“Later, they will be placed in villages, so that the learning process can run normally,” department head Felix Liem Gebze told tabloidjubi.com on Thursday (3/4)

“We are planning to hire about 200 teachers, yet the funds are very limited. So, for now, we’re going to recruit 105 teachers only,” Gebze added.

In the future, the quota of contract teachers will be increased because many schools in the villages still face a shortage of teachers. “This is our plan to improve education gradually”.
