Merauke, 17/6 (Jubi) – A local resident of Lampu Satu Village, Samarudin reported another local resident, YK to the Merauke Police because secretly used his land to build Disabilities School (SLB).
The Merauke Police Spokesperson, the First Inspector Richard Nainggolan confirmed to tabloidjubi.com at his office on Tuesday (17/6) about the case.
“The land owner had a good intention to meet with YK for clarification, but had no good response,” he said.
Nainggolan said the landowner returned to Kali Torasi in 2009 and found out that there’s a school built in his land. The landowner then contacted the official of Merauke Education and Learning Department and been confirmed a school would be built in his land.
The problem was actually resolved in May 2014 in the Merauke Education Office where YF also came and admitted he has handed over the land to the education department.
“Because he gave the land without permission, therefore the landowner decided to report the case to the Merauke Police in accordance to the law,” he said.
The Merauke Police Chief, Sri Satyatama confirmed the case and further said it would be examined by questioning some witnesses. (Jubi/Frans L Kobun/rom)
