KNPB’s flag – Jubi
Sorong, Jubi – The West Papua National Committee (KNPB) in Sorong, West Papua Province, thanked the Pacific countries for supporting Papua on self-determination.
KNPB conducted a prayer as a token of appreciation for those who support Papua in the Pacific Islands Forum in the early of September 2015. KNPB Sorong Raya spokesperson, Gusti Prabu, said this appreciation is to support the West Papua struggle for independence voiced by KNPB.
“We highly appreciate the Pacific leaders to guard and support the Papua issue,” he told Jubi in Sorong, Tuesday (22/9/2015).
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Sorong Raya Parliament, Yulius Wondiwoy, said the recommendation of Melanisian Spearhead Group (MSG) in PIF plenary in Vanuatu at early September has resulted three key decisions, including human right violation on the land of Papua must be thoroughly settled.
“We hope it is a good step to determine the fate of Papuans,” said Wondiwoy. (Niko MB/rom)
