Biak, Jubi – Teaching and learning activities at Inpress Sunyar Elementary School (SD) in Yendidori, Biak Numfor, did not run well because some of the teachers do not come to school every day, head of Sunyar village, Yesaya Ayer told Jubi Saturday (14/11).

“I am confused why this happened where teachers’ facilities such as houses have been provided and left empty. The teachers prefer to live in their own village,”Ayer explained.

He said he felt sorry and sad to see the children who came and play.only  “They play from morning till noon. ”

The principal and two honor teachers sometimes come to school, while two full time teachers ( state teachers) do not go to school every day.

He urged Department of Education to pay attention to this matter and provide additional teachers for the school.
The addition was intended to replace teachers who do not regularly come to school so that teaching and learning process in the school can run effectively.
