

Jayapura Religious Court has recorded that up to May 24, there are186 cases of divorce – IST
Jayapura, Jubi – Religious Court of Jayapura up to May 24, 2017 has recorded 186 cases of divorce and marriage certificate that have been entered and stipulated as a PMH or waiting for a panel of judges who want to handle the case.
It is said by Humal Religious Court Jayapura, Nurul Huda to Jubi on Wednesday (May 24).
There are two types of divorce cases, namely divorce accounted by the wife and divorced by the husband. Divorce lawsuits by wife further dominate those cases.
All cases of divorce occur due to infidelity, not being provided economically, left behind or irresponsible husband and domestic violence.
According to Huda at the end of 2017 it is estimated that ordinary cases would reach 350-400 that go in court.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Religious Court of Jayapura, Hamzah said, Jayapura Religion Court provides free legal assistance for the poor who caught the problem as above. (*)
