Jayapura, 20/5 (Jubi) – Garuda Indonesia will use ATR aircraft to serve flights in Papua.
Garuda’s general manager in Jayapura, Wahyudi said the aircraft would serve routes connecting regencies in Papua.
“The aircraft are scheduled to be there within this year. I hope it would be soon realized and operated,” Wahyudi said on Tuesday (20/5).
He said before serving several flight routes within Papua regencies, Garuda at first would serve two regencies of Nabire and Jayawijaya using ATR planes.
“The ATR aircraft are ascertained for safe landing on runways of 1,200 meters,” he said. (Jubi/Arjuna/rom)
