Sorong, Jubi – Police have urged residents whose motorcycles have been stolen to come to the Sorong Police Headquarters to claim their vehicles by bringing the papers.

Dozens of stolen motorcycles have been seized and lodged there since last week, said the Crime and Investigation Unit Chief of Sorong City Police, Dodik Tri Hendro.

Sorong Police arrested the leader of a motorcycle-theft ring, identified as KD, on 30 October  and seized dozens of stolen motorcycles.
“Please bring the complete papers to check the engine number and it’s free,” Tri Hendro said. He said that the police were always ready to serve the people.

“There’s no due date. Please come and we’re ready to serve,” he said.
