Abepura, Jubi – Medical students at Cenderawasih University who are in eight semester are unable to take internships because of certain doctors in Hospital Dok II refused them.

They instead asked that they be appointed lecturers  at Cenderwasih university.
“Previously, they accepted medical students, but now the students get rejected. They asked the rector to issue a decree on their position that must be equal with professors on campus. Is it possible?, ” Yohanes Krey, acting dean of the Medical faculty, told Jubi in Abepura, Jayapura city last week.

However, the request could be met because unless the doctors had to leave their hospital jobs to become lecturers.

The request can be processed in accordance with the Law faculty of medicine and 20 teaching hospitals in 2013.
“After that, if they want to serve in the dock II is up to them otherwise, it violates the law, “he said.
