Jayapura, 20/6 (Jubi) – The Honor Election Council (DKPP) will hear the seven commissioners of Election Commission in Papua regarding legislative election violations on Friday (20/6).
The Commission chairman, Adam Arisoi said the commissioner that will be on trial are from Election Commission of Nduga, Yahukimo, Sarmi, Yapen,Lanny Jaya, Central Mamberamo and Tolikara.
“The trial will last two days and will be conducted in Papua Police as well as the Papua High Court since both these institutions have full facilities for video conferencing,” he said on Thursday (19/6).
The chairman of the panel of DKPP, Jimly Asshiddigie will lead the trial and will be attended by DKPP commissioners, Saut Hamonangan Sirat and Nur Hidiayat Sardini.
“This trial is based on public complaints to the Board of Trustees Election (Bawaslu) on legislative election violations. Particularly, Tolikara Election Commission, five commissioners and Committee Election Committee (PPD) will be interrogated,” he said. (Jubi / Arjuna/ Tina)
