Jayapura , 18/1 ( Jubi ) – Director of Acceleration Unit of Health Development Papua (UP2KP), dr. Aloysius Giay, said that various health programs should made the Papuan community healthy.
“All partners in health programs in Jayapura District and Jayapura Municipalitythis is an excellent opportunity for us to explain about the national health insurance system (JKN),” dr. Aloysius said to the reporters after the Socialization of Social Security Services Agency (BPKS), national health insurance system (JKN), Referral system and Papua Healthy Card (KPS) in the UP2KP Office, Kotaraja, Jayapura, Saturday (18/1).
In this meeting, it was explained about the allocation of BPJS’ fund, further he also explained about a linkage between JKN and KPS. The remarkable thing is the working partner of UP2KP accepted what have been designed by UP2KP on the referral system, and according to dr. Aloysius this is a step forward for Papua Province. This is only waiting to be authorized by the Legal Bureau and all partners who are participating in this socialization in order to provide the appreciation,” dr. Aloysius said.
Participate in the meeting, dr. Yeri Mandang, Head of Medical Services of Yowari Hospital, Sentani, complained about the clean water and food facilities at his duty base. “We have already proposed this in the budget planning but the Government of Jayapura District did not agree. The fund was actually given to the Department of Mines for excavation and other reasons.
In response to this issue, dr. Aloysius Giay requested the Yowari Hospital to prepare the budget details for using the realization funds of the Local Government of Jayapura District to answer those requirements, in particularly about food secured for the patients who stay in Yowari Hospital.
