Jayapura, Jubi – The Papua Legislative Council ( DPRP) reminded the Department of Education and Teaching in Papua to monitor school readiness to conduct the National Examination (UN).

A DPRP member from Commission V on Education, Iqnasius W Mimin, said relevant agencies should ensure all schools in the area are ready to participate in the UN.

He said not all schools, specially in more remote areas, are ready due to the absence of teachers before the exams.
“It is clearly can not be accepted,” Mimin said on Monday (06/04/2015).

“The conditions in Papua are not the same as other areas. So the education department should check the readiness of each school in their area,” he said. Final examination will begin on 13th April.

Meanwhile, on one occasion, the Minister of Education and Culture (Education), Anies Baswedan said it continues to monitor the preparation of the manuscript UN this year. Final examination for secondary level will begin on 13th April and Junior highschools starts 4 May. (Arjuna Pademme/Tina)
