Jayapura, Jubi – Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe said many Papuans have not yet taken full advantage of information technology in many aspects of life.
“Th development and globalization of information technology have changed the styles and the workings of government, industry and citizens. This demand will determine the future prosperity of the nation and have a great impact to the society,” Enembe said at the coordinaton meeting on implementation of standard services on Monday (20/10).
The meeting was aimed at evaluating the performance and achievement of each district / city, in order to ensure quality access to information.
The head of Communications and Information Technology , Archipus Kaize said the purpose of this meeting is to seek reports from regents and mayors on the implementation of communication and information technology program.
“Hopefully, through this coordination meeting , participants can report the results of its implementation of the district / city so that each can give feedback,” he added. (Alexander Loen/Tina)
