Jayapura , 29/4 ( Jubi ) – Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe said the result of the 2013 government employee recruitment tests will be announced in May.
About 250 civil servants recruited will be from temporary staffers, with additional 90 people to be recruited next year, the governor said.
The public recruitment drive will hire 300 people from more than 3,000 applicants.
“The ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms has sent the results to us. This recruitment process is based on the standard procedure, ” Enembe said.
He said indigenous Papuans account for 80 percent of those recruited but more non-Papuans may be needed for positions such as doctors.
“Certainly, there is a classification for the Papuans and non- Papuans. Non- Papuans are those who come, stay and apply for a job while Papuans are those who were born and live in Papua,” he said. (Jubi/Alex/Tina)
