Jayapura, 3/2 ( Jubi ) – dr . Lily , Chief of Health Center in Lereh district said, acute respiratory infections ( ARIs ) in Lereh District, West Sentani, Jayapura regency is very dominant. This is because Lereh residents have less awareness of the importance of hygiene .

” ARIs is dominant here. Besides that there is Tuberculosis ( TB) but it is covered. ” said dr . Lily to the tabloidjubi.com.
According to her, there are also people who are infected HIV but the most dominant disease is ARIs . dr Lily added.
Related to this, the Director of Papua Development Acceleration Unit on Health ( UP2KP ) , drg . Aloysius Giyai said, Papua Card Health ( Kartu Papua Sehat)) which launched by the Governor of Papua , Lukas Enembe on December 2, 2013 is expected to be well used by health workers in serving the community in the villages including to handle various cases of respiratory disease .
Further Aloysius said, Papua Card Health will be distributed to the villages. If it has been enacted in every village, there will have no complaints from the residents related to the health services. Papua Card Health and the National Health Insurance card ( JKN ) will be backing up the entire cost of health care .
