Jayapura, Jubi/Antara – The National Narcotics Agency of Papua (BNNP) found that there were 48 prisoners who are held a prison in Doyo Baru Sentani tested positive for illegal drugs after urine tests.
This data was obtained based on urine test results conducted in 2012.
“From the urine tests in the Narcotics prison, as many as 48 people tested positive for drugs, ” the head of Papua National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) Eko Purnomo Tunyanan said in Jayapura last week. Types of drugs consumed included illicit drug, marijuana, and ecstasy pills.
“There are some other institutions we have not conducted a urine test because of funds and staff shortages “he added.
In the meantime, the test is carried out at senior high schools and vocational schools in Jayapura city, Jayapura, Keerom and Merauke Regencies. (*)
